The 20th edition of the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation Golf tournament, held once again at the Royal Montreal Golf Club, raised $837,150 to support a new Chair in Pediatric Surgery. Some 52 foursomes of Montreal’s business leaders took the green with pleasure and helped make this event a true success.
Marie-Josée Gariépy, President of the Foundation, acknowledges that this event comes to life through the tireless effort of the golf committee’s chairman, Mark Pathy and the organizing committee, a team of staff and volunteers, as well as the unrelenting support of the local business community for the past 20 years. “So much has been made possible because committee members, volunteers, golfers, sponsors, donors, and our raffle-ticket purchasers continue to stand by this worthy cause,” she says.
Amongst the fundraising activities of the Golf Tournament was a raffle to win a pair of season hockey tickets. The lucky winning number is 0967. Congratulations and thanks to all!
