Kilimanjaro 2011

Mount Kilimanjaro, also known as the “roof of Africa”, is the highest summit in Africa at 5895 metres. From January 17 to 31, 2011, an intrepid group of trekkers will set out to complete this climb to benefit The Children’s. Participation fees for the expedition, which will be led by Tusker Trail, the top guides in the area, will be approximately $8000 (including airfare and equipment costs), and each climber will be encouraged to raise a minimum of $5000 for our Hospital. This adventure will be a real opportunity to push your limits, and to show the extent to which you have children’s health at heart.
