The Young Ambassador’s Club
The members of the Young Ambassadors’ Club know a secret: even little kids have the power to make a difference.
These young champions have chosen to give up birthday presents or organize fundraisers in their communities to help make our Hospital an even better place for sick kids to get well. We are grateful for their contributions, and very proud to have these exceptional young people representing The Children’s in their schools and neighborhoods.

On May 1st, 2015 Christina-Maria Dangelas was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. Her classmates at Socrates V wanted to do something to support their friend as well as the Hematology/Oncology Unit at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. The grad committee came up with the idea of selling yellow bracelets with the word courage written on it in English and in Greek. They are proud to have raised a total of $5,000. Congratulations to the Socrates V graduating class of 2016 for their great initiative and accomplishment!
Returning Young Ambassador, Zoë, celebrated her 5th birthday by asking friends and family to make a donation in support of the Children’s in lieu of receiving birthday presents. Zoe, proudly donated $946.00 to the Healthy Kids Fund because when it comes to knowing what’s needed, the medical experts know best. Bravo Zoë!
