You’ve probably seen doctors, nurses, janitors, and/or technicians with a little rocket on their uniform. These pins are more than just an accessory; they are symbols of efficient and remarkable work.
Since the launch of the program, grateful families have given more than one hundred Champions pins to deserving members of the Children’s. Whether for excellence in their work, their approach or their compassion, these recipients are very proud to have been nominated by the families of past and current patients.
Dr. Hussein Wissanji wanted to thank the family that sent him a pin. “Personally, it really touched me. I felt blessed. It is a very nice sign of respect from the families. At the same time, it’s a good way to support Foundation projects,” he told us.
