All of us, “Let’s Talk”!

January 31 is the day to mobilize around mental health. The Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation believes today is a perfect opportunity to remind ourselves that mental health is as important as physical health, particularly for a child or a teen. Marie-Jeanne, who is battling anorexia, knows this all too well. Her message? You have to talk about your problems because that is how you can get the support you need to silence the voice of a disease that has taken control. Let her inspire you! HOW TO HELP THE CAUSE Bell Let’s Talk campaign is now in its eighth year. Bell will donate 5¢ …

Battling Toward a Healthy Weight

Marie-Jeanne is now proud of who she sees in the mirror

As a young girl navigating through her last year of elementary school, Marie-Jeanne was a smart and reliable kid with a strong head on her shoulders. But high school was just around the corner and with it came fears of not fitting in. During the Holiday season, we called on your generosity and wow, did you ever answer the call! In recognition for the great care that saved their daughter’s life, they founded …

Bye Bye mon cowboy!

Fresh of his triumphant return to the P.K. Subban Atrium at the Children’s, P.K. wasted no time in getting Year 2 off to a great start. Later that evening, his first-ever gala raised over $250,000 for P.K’s Helping Hand as friends, donors and special guests who helped him celebrate his continued commitment to our patients and their families. The fun-filled evening featured everything from signature drink “P.K.’s bittersweet” to a mechanical bull and white cowboy hats for all 280 guests. Emcee Rachid Badouri charmed the crowd and Mitsou made a surprise appearance, serenading P.K. with an acoustic version of her hit …
